27 februari 2018“The European Commission is currently evaluating what public authorities, the business community and other stakeholders want to do with the claims for botanicals – on hold since 2010 – in order to make a proposal on how applications for health claims for botanicals should be assessed and, moreover, whether the use of botanicals in foods must be regulated separately. It is a great challenge to find a legally robust and politically feasible solution for the current situation”.
